What is Network for Good's Editorial Policy?

Network for Good provides content on its site from a variety of sources, and features content deemed to be of interest and/or educational value to our readers.

Network for Good offers specially created "packages" or stories on issues, events, or crises that are of particular interest to a large number of our users. Network for Good has an editorial director who is responsible for ensuring that the content in these packages is accurate and balanced based on the following criteria:

• There is a broad interest that has an international, national or large-local focus or scope;
• The issue has a potential impact on society; and
• There is a tie-in with external events (e.g., Breast Cancer Awareness Month, September 11, etc.) that warrants coverage.

In addition to developing our own content, Network for Good includes content from our media partners and participating nonprofits. GuideStar provides us with a directory of charities and Volunteer Match provides us with our list of volunteer opportunities.

Network for Good is a not-for-profit organization. We strive to distinguish our editorial content from any paid promotional information. We do not engage in the buying or selling of content or volunteer/donor information.
