Why should I register with GuideStar?

Network for Good relies on GuideStar's database of 1 million public charities to provide individuals with comprehensive information about charities that match their interests. All charities listed in the GuideStar database and appearing on Network for Good are public charities in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service. Charities are encouraged to supplement the information provided in a basic GuideStar listing by adding additional information about their mission, programs, beneficiaries, etc.

By updating your GuideStar listing, you will provide donors with an accurate and complete picture of your organization when your organization's information appears on the Network for Good Web site. All registrations and updates are free of charge via the Internet.
