If a recurring donation fails, will I be notified?

If a donation installment is unsuccessful, Network for Good will send you an email to tell you that the donation could not be completed. Please note that credit card failures may occur for a number of reasons. Your card may have expired, your billing address may have changed, you may have temporarily exceeded your authorization threshold (as may happen when car rental companies place a large authorization hold on your account), you may have closed the account, etc.

Once a recurring donation charge has failed, the recurring donation can be reactivated within 30 days by updating your billing information. Please note that when a failure occurs, the charity of your choice will not receive a donation from you for the failed period. If you desire, you can make a regular non-recurring donation to the organization via our website to make up for the failed donation.
