How are donations made through Network for Good disbursed?

Once a donor has designated a particular organization as the recipient of a contribution, there are two ways that the organization can receive that donation.

If you have sent us the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authorization Agreement found on this site, we will electronically transmit the donation to your organization's bank account on the 15th of each month (for the previous month). If you have not sent us your EFT information, we will mail a paper check to the address we have on file for your organization.

The fastest, most efficient method of payment is EFT. We strongly encourage all organizations to complete and fax the EFT Agreement back to us as soon as possible. This will also ensure that we have the most current, reliable information for your organization.

We also encourage all organizations to register with the GuideStar database to supplement the information collected from their IRS Form 990, and other public sources available to GuideStar. This will ensure that consumers searching the GuideStar database will have access to the best, most complete and reliable information about each organization. GuideStar supplies licensed information regarding charities to Network for Good, in order to support donors in finding charities and making charitable contributions. GuideStar does not endorse, feature, promote, or police particular charities in the GuideStar database, and Network for Good is not responsible for the accuracy of any information in the GuideStar database. The GuideStar database is maintained at no cost to nonprofit organizations, which can choose whether or not to provide additional information to GuideStar.
